First: Services provided by the industrial zones sector - Land Unit

1 -  Land allocation in the new industrial cities and the initial approval of establishing a project.
2-  Providing lands without interior utilities to set up new industrial clusters under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) (General Developer System).

Second: Services provided in the field of major projects

1 - Approval of establishing intensive-energy industrial projects outside industrial zones and inside the 27 areas allocated for heavy industries or the environment polluting industries.
2- Approval of establishing industrial projects outside industrial zones on the lands of agricultural reclamation and which are unfit for cultivation or close to raw materials and resources that can be exploited.
3- Approval of setting up industrial projects outside industrial zones on the lands of agricultural reclamation.
 
Third: Servces provided in the field of approving or modifying industrial projects & reistration, renewal or modification in the industrial Registry
 
1 - Approval of establishing an industrial project inside governorates outside accredited industrial zones (adjusting the conditions of an industrial project outside industrial zones).
2- Approval of data modification (adding an activity - production diversification - enhancing driving force) in the industrial projects of governorates outside industrial zones (adjustment of the industrial project's conditions).
3- Final approval of establishing industrial projects in the new industrial communities and cities and the industrial zones of governorates.
4- Approval of modification of an industrial project in the new industrial communities and cities and the industrial zones of governorates.
5- Getting a registration certificate of the establishment in the industrial registry (valid for 5 years) in case of the permanent operating license.
6- Getting a temporary registration certificate of establishment in the industrial registry (valid for 6 months) and renewing it.
7- Getting an operating license and a temporary industrial register valid for 1 year.
8- Modification of the registration data of establishment in the industrial registry and obtaining a modified certificate.
9- Renewal of the establishment's registration in the industrial registry and getting the registration certificate (after validity expiration of the previous 5-year certificate).
10-Obtaining an authentic copy, duplicate of the certificate and data certificate of the industrial registry.

Fourth: Services provided in the field of small-scale industries
1 - Allocating units of small-scale industries7 assemblies in qovernorates and new cities.

Fifth: Services provided in the field of local manufacturing consolidation

1 - Issuing temporary release letters for imported components of assembly industries until the company completes the data required for study (valid for 3 months).
2- Issuing a letter of the local manufacturing ratio of the product in case of export.
3- Determining what is locally manufactured of the governmental departments', organizations', public sector's and public enterprise sector's needs of import requirements in accordance with the Prime Minister's decrees.
4- Applying Article (4) of Law No. l86/1986.
5- Providing the privilege of enjoying the customs discounts in accordance with Article (6) of the Presidential Decree No. 39/2007 by approving the local manufacturing percentage for assembly industries (for the first time).
6- Providing the privilege of enjoying the customs reductions in accordance with Article (6) of the Presidential Decree No. 39/2007 by approving the local manufacturing ratio for assembly industries.
7- Applying the 3rd paragraph of Article (5) of the Presidential Decree No. 39/2007, explained by the Minister of Finance's decree No.1419/ 2004, to release all the invoices - attached to the application - including the necessary requisites, components and spare parts for overhaul of railway trailers' turbine engines.
 
Sixth: Services provided in the field of traffic licensing for means of transport
 
1 - Issuing a letter addressed to the Traffic Department for licensing the locally manufactured means of transport and trailers.

Seventh: Services provided in the field of environmental protection

1 - Issuing customs release letter of hazardous chemicals consignment.

Eighth: Services in the field of information provision & publishing

1 - Obtaining data of the industrial establishments from the database of the industrial registry.
• Obtaining data of the industrial establishments from the database of the industrial approvals (projects under construction).
• Obtaining data from the database of the industrial map (industrial establishments and zones).

2- Obtaining data through the industrial periodical bulletins of IDA.
3- Getting the directory of Egyptian industry and industrial products.

Ninth: Services in the field of studies provision
