Overview of
Industrial Zones in Egypt
The Egyptian
Government had set up industrial zones to rectify the course of industrial
development and to protect environment by keeping industrial establishments away
from housing areas and close to production requirements. The number of industrial zones was
increased to reach 119, divided according to administrative
subordination.
