Manual On Inside Doors Assembling and Installment

Attention!

The Manufacturer recommends using the service of specialists to install the Doors. Only specialist’s installment of doors is a guarantee of its long service. In case the doors are installed not correct it will result in unsatisfactory maintenance doors and even deformation of the door leaves.

LIST OF THE DOOR SET ITEMS

1.   Door Leaf (width 600, 700, 800, 900 mm; height 2000 mm)

2.   Door Frame with sealant (installed by the Manufacture):

(2a) – series Econom, Classic, Premier, Premium, Oskar.

(2b) – series Modern.

The number of the Door Frame items without the Threshold – 3 pcs, with the Threshold – 4 pcs.

3.   Door Case:

Spherical (3a) – series Classic, Modern, Premier, Premium, Oskar.

Flat (3b) – series Premium, Oskar

Flat (3c) – series Econom.

4.   Door Add Planks (4) – 100 mm, 150 mm.

5.   Threshold of the Door Frame

SUPPLIED SET OF DOOR FRAME AND DOOR CASE

 

1.      Item Number of Door Frame without Threshold – 3 pcs.

2.      Item Number of Door Case – 5 pcs.

Note: Door Frame and Door Case are supplied by items not adjusted to the size of Door Leaf.

 

 

TOOLS AND MATERIALS FOR DOOR SET INSTALLATION:

 

1.      Tool (equipment) to check accuracy and precision of the angle cutting;

2.      Awl;

3.      Hummer;

4.      Drill

5.      Drilling Bit – diameter 2-2.5 mm and 4.5 mm;

6.      Screwdriver;

7.      Chisel;

8.      Pieces of plywood width 3 mm or other material;

9.      Screws 12 pcs;

10.  Wood-working saw with small fire-hard toothing;

11.  Lumps of wood for spacing and wedges;

12.  Level or Plumb;

13.  Fitting Foam.

 

 

ORDER OF ASSEMBLING AND INSTALLATION OF THE DOOR FRAME

 

1.      Prepare the Door Way according to the recommendation of the Table 1. Make this work before the final finishing of walls (painting, fixing wall papers).

2.      Assemble the Door Frame (Pic.2).

3.      Mark the places for Door Furniture on the Door Leaf and the Door Frame (Pic.3)

4.      Choose the dimension of the space between Door and floor (10-15 mm).

5.      Take the Door Leaf out of the Door Frame. Cut the excess part of the Door Frame length or install the Threshold.

6.      Install the Door Frame in the Door Way according to the level (Pic.4).

7.      Install the Door Hinges and Lock inside the Door Leaf.

8.      Install the Door Add Planks of needed width (if necessary).

9.      Install the Door Hinges and the counterpart of Lock on the Door Frame.

10.  Check the closing status. The Door Leaf should not scratch the Door Frame items and the Threshold. Install the Door cases.

 

1.      PREPARE DOOR WAY

 

1.1.The Doors are manufactured of the standard sizes for installation without any additional materials inside the following standard Door Frames (Table 1)

1.2.If the Door Frame is of standard dimensions – proceed to the next step. In case it is out of standard size – adjust it according to the dimensions (Table 1). The Door Case may cover maximum 50 mm.

 

2.ASSEMBLING OF DOOR FRAME

 

2.1.Necessary cut the upper item of the Door Frame (as well as the Door Case later) by high quality circ saw with the dividing head to adjust 45° (Pic.1a).

1.1.The dimension of the upper item connecting to the Door Leaf is equal to the width of the Door Leaf +7-8 mm. Put the Door Leaf to the upper item end to mark the size.

1.2.Put the long and short items of the Door Frame as on the Pic.2. Screw the junction in screw-clamp, drill at 45º and fix the items with screws.

1.1.Repeat the same steps for the second side.

 

1.2.Install the Threshold as the upper item.

 

3. MARK THE PLACE OF DOOR FURNITURE

 

3.1.Choose the side of the Door opening and the side of Door Hinges.

3.2.Put the Door Leaf inside the U-Type Door Frame set. For rigidity – tighten the down part of the Door Frame with Scotch Tape.

3.3.There should be the inside spacing between the Door Frame and the Door Leaf so put the strip of any material of 3-3.5 mm width between!

3.4.When assembling Two-Leaf Door leave the spacing not less than 4 mm between Leaves (Pic.4).

3.1.Mark the places for Door Hinges and the Lock according to the Pic.3.

 

 

4. SPACING BETWEEN FLOOR ANF DOOR LEAF

4.1.The spacing should be 8-10 mm for better isolation. If there is the floor covering than the Door Leaf should be 3 mm above the cover pile.

4.2.Mark the distance on the Door Frame.

4.3.Take the Door Leaf out of the Door Frame, and cut the excess part of the Door Frame in case the Door is installed without the Threshold. You should cut from the facing part to the back part in order to avoid the spalling of the cover!

 5. INSTALLATION OF DOOR FRAME IN THE DOOR WAY

 

5.1.  Prepare the Door Way according to the recommendations of the Table 1, Install the Door Frame with the Door Leaf and Spacers vertically using the level or plumb.

5.2.  Fix it inside the wall by wedging it by wooden wedges and avoid bending of the items of the Door Frame.

5.3.  Fix the Door Frame with the fitting foam by fixing the space between the wall and the Door Frame (Pic.4).

5.4.  The time of foam hardening depends on its type and is marked on the container. After the stated time cut the rest of foam by knife and install the Door Cases and Door Add Planks.
